Gaylord High School
Gaylord won their second game in as many days with a convincing 43 points victory over the Bucks of Roscommon. 9 Blue Devils cracked the scoring column with Riley Gapinski leading the way with game highs in points (17) and assists (5). Kyler McKenzie added 15, Cordell Larose had 13 points and 7 rebounds, Alex Pudvan had 8 points and 5 rebounds, Drew Parker pulled down 5 rebounds and added 7 points, Benjamin Welch scored 3 points and had 5 rebounds, Tyler Ashley 2, Carson Gahm 2 points and 6 rebounds, and Griffin Lompra had 2 points. “Our guys got a lot of open looks tonight because we didn’t settle for the first shot. We like to push the ball whenever we have opportunity to do so, but being patient in the half court has been getting us some really nice, easy looks inside. The team is playing with confidence which is exactly what we want before we finish our season with 3 difficult contests against very good opponents.” Gaylord’s record currently stands at 12 wins and 4 losses.
